Party Rental Depot has a long history in Calgary. Couples and companies have enjoyed our services since 1994. In 2017 the legacy was reborn through new ownership. Since then more Albertans than ever have trusted Todd and his team to supply events their guests have been ecstatic to attend.

For the last few years, we’ve been working to bring new energy to event rentals and to actively participate and collaborate with others in the event planning, rental, and hosting community.

A new look is the biggest change! New inventory is one think any rental company can do. New ideas about how to make your rental experience easy and pleasurable is what sets us apart, and has propelled PRD to be among the top event rental companies in Alberta. I’m a local Albertan, growing up South of Calgary. Married in a tent on our family farm, which probably helped lead us to purchase PRD in 2017, after leaving Oil and Gas earlier in 2017 upon the arrival of my second daughter. Wanting to connect more with my family, I found that also being able to help others connect through events was becoming important.

No, setting up chairs at a banquet isn’t my passion. Ensuring our equipment allows guests to have a great time is what is rewarding. Knowing I had a small part in those experiences pushes me and the team to come up with great inventory, and be the easiest, most responsive rental team in Alberta.

Pineapples used to also be rented out by pineapple merchants to those who could not afford to purchase them. People rented them to bring to parties to show off their apparent ability to afford such an expensive fruit. As they were at the time very expensive and a luxury item for only the most wealthy.
